    Examples

    I know it’s embarrassing, but sappy movies like that always reduce me to tears.

    That offensive lineman is a real moose. Look at the size of that guy!

    having a too high an opinion of one’s own importance

    Examples

    I can’t stand his jumped-up attitude.

    He is Just a  jumped up  Pompous ginger dullard.
